Once you got it on your computer, you would have to try to get it to start in CrossOver. To install the game you need to download a addon through Firefox which then updates/downloads the game within the browser. It would be a pain in the ass to try to get it to work. Think of CrossOver as a emulator, not a full fledged enviroment like VMFusion or Parallels- no, I wouldn't try those either for what you are trying to do.

The only game that I have gotten to run flawlessly is Guild Wars. I have had Team Fortress 2 lock up mid game and even crash. I would like to point out in the case of Steam games, CrossOver is not 100% full proof. You can see how these games play via this link.

I have always enjoyed the Blizzard games since they run naively in mac. When I am at school, I don't have access to my machine, so I have to find other ways to play games.
